Your Waldner family

Meet the Waldner family

Your hosts in S. Valentino alla Muta
With great passion and dedication, Alfred and Theresia Waldner opened the restaurant “Zum See” at Lake San Valentino in 1995. With this, the passionate hosts laid the foundation for a family-run business that has continuously evolved over the years.
A significant milestone followed in 2012 with the opening of the campsite. Step by step, the business expanded: in 2016, the kitchen and dining hall were enlarged, and the campsite was further developed, most recently in 2020.
Today, the three Waldner children also actively contribute to its success. In 2011, Julia took over the campsite reception, while Deborah has been managing the restaurant since 2018. In 2023, their brother Felix joined in, bringing fresh ideas to the business.
The year 2025 marked an exciting new chapter: with a complete demolition and reconstruction, a modern restaurant with an expanded kitchen and a spacious sun terrace was built. Comfortable apartments with a wellness area, a new lounge, a large playground for younger guests, and much more were added.
Despite all these developments, one thing has remained unchanged: our commitment to creating unforgettable moments in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
